Meet Our Providers

Dr. Karle is a 1983 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She remains a member of the Michigan State University community as a Clinical Associate Professor for the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Karle completed her internship in General Practice at Botsford General Hospital in 1984. Dr. Karle has been in private practice in Rochester for over twenty five years and is an active staff member at both Ascension Hosipital Rochester & Beaumont Hospital.

In addition, Dr. Karle was previously the Chief of Family Medicine at Crittenton Hospital (Ascension Hospital - Rochester) as well as Secretary of the medical staff. Dr. Karle is board certified as a Family Medicine physician and is pleased to see patients from all age groups – adolescents through adults.

Dr. Bridget Karle specializes in all aspects of Internal Medicine & is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Karle is a 1997 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine where she graduated with High Honors. She completed her internship & residency at William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak, Michigan) in 2000.

Dr. Karle is pleased to see patients from adolescents to the elderly.

Dr. Gavorin completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University in 2001. She is a 2008 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2011 she completed her residency at St. John Hospital.

Dr. Gavorin is board certified as a Family Medicine physician and sees patients from all age groups – adolescents through the elderly.

Dr. Al-Atassi graduated form the University of Aleppo Medical School in 1997 and did residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center (Chicago) as well as St. John Hospital (Detroit). He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Al-Atassi has served several terms as Chief of Staff at Kindred Hospital as well as serving on the Medical Executive Committee.

Dr. Al-Atassi has a special interest in the geriatric population and chronic illness management. Dr. Al-Atassi continues to make daily rounds at Beaumont Hospital of Troy and Accession Providence Hospital of Rochester.

Nurse Practitioner Burkland is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree (with Highest Honors) from Oakland University in 2008. From 2003-2008 she worked as a Registered Nurse at William Beaumont Hospital. (Royal Oak & Troy)

Tracey is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She furthered her education and received her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a focus in Adult Primary Care from Wayne State University in 2013.

Tracey worked as a registered nurse at St John Hospital and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital from 2008-2013 before becoming a member of the Karle Medical team.

Stephanie is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, licensed in the State of Michigan. She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University in 2025.

Stephanie worked as a registered nurse at Beaumont / Corewell Health Royal Oak from 2019-2026 before becoming a member of the Karle Medical team. She cares for patients in the primary care setting with an emphasis on prevention, chronic disease management, and continuity of care, and is pleased to see patients 12 years of age and older.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
