The office will remain open. However, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we ask you to read the following:
Most importantly, any patients with flu-like symptoms should call our office before coming to your appointment. Those symptoms are typically similar to those of the Covid-19 virus.
Covid-19 symptoms can include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. In some cases headache and intestinal distress are experienced. If you have these symptoms, you should contact the office at 248-852-9596. If your symptoms are severe, you may need to immediately seek transportation to an Emergency Department.
The Karle Medical Group are working to respond appropriately to this pandemic. Consequently, our office protocols and practices may change temporarily. Please understand that we are working to minimize risk of infection.
- One way that we are attempting to minimize infection risk is by replacing some in-office visits with telemedicine visits. If the medical staff offer this option, we strongly recommend that you consider it. If you have any of the symptoms mentioned above, it is highly likely that the office will request this option.
- We are asking patients who do not require direct assistance to have anyone attending their office visit remain in their vehicle during the visit.
- If you are seen in the office our staff may be wearing masks and asking each patient to use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the office.
Due to a high volume of patient concerns about this virus, please refer to www.cdc.org/coronavirus for up-to-date information about this infection, as we will not be able to respond directly to all requests for information. We also receive our information from the CDC.
